Description

finely modelled in the form of a flat-bottomed boat, with a two-chined hull gently rising at the ends, supported on a low rounded rectangular footring, covered overall in a fine grey-blue crackled glaze transmuting to a brown glaze towards the rim and along the edges on the underside in imitation of Song dynasty guan ware, save for the footring left unglazed and dressed in a dark brown wash, wood stand
