Description

the shallow rounded sides rising from a slightly flared foot to an everted rim and moulded around the exterior with a double bow-string band, covered overall with an even persimmon glaze accented with a slight iridescence and thinning to white at the rim and on the raised lines, save for the base left white and inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

Condition

There are some light scratches and a minute polished-down speck of kiln grit on the interior but overall the dish is in quite good condition. The actual colour is quite close to catalogue illustration.
