Condition

Overall, the condition of the marble is good with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age including dirt to the face, wing and left edge. There is faint veining throughout. The tips of Nike's proper left index finger and proper right thumb were reattached. There are a number of small chips including to the edges and corners of the relief, and one or two to the drapery and to the edges of the sandal on the proper right foot. The marble would benefit from a professional cleaning.
