Condition

Overall the condition of the wood is good. There is wear and some dirt to the surface consistent with age with some minor worming consistent with material, including at the proper right shoulder. There is stable splitting to the surface consistent with material, including some larger ones running up from the front of the base and a split across the proper right eye. The left hand is lost. Two curls to the proper left side of the head are lost due to splitting and a knot has come out at the proper right shoulder. There is an original insert to the proper right side of the head, a large section is doweled on at the proper right side on the reverse, and a smaller section of drapery is doweled on at proper left elbow. There are several losses to the drapery on the proper left side, and there are losses to the base on the proper left side and the reverse.
