Condition

Overall the condition of the wood is good with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. The figure was probably stripped of its paint, traces remain around the base and contours of the group. A small section of the beard, the proper right arm, a section of the reign, the tip of the rider's foot and the adjacent drapery, the horse's tail, the proper left front leg of the horse and proper right front hoof and part of the adjacent base are lost. There are a few small wormholes consistent with material. There are two round holes to the base for mounting.
