Condition
Overall the condition of the sculpture is very good with some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is some rubbing to the areas where separately cask parts such as the sword and lance touch the surface. There is some discolouration and some very minor stable hairline splitting to the ivory face consistent with material.

Perzinka is chiefly known as a founder. From 1889 to 1894 he cast Auguste Rodin's bronzes.
