Condition

Overall the condition of the silver is very good with dirt and some minor wear to the surface consistent with age. The silver has slight tarnishing throughout and some dryness to the surface in the crevices

Catalogue Note

Carpeaux dedicated his model of the Corpus Christi to his fiancee, the pious Amélie de Monfort, in 1869. This is the only known example in silver.
