Condition

Overall the condition of the alabaster is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few small losses including two of the fingers of the left Grace's proper left hand. There are a few smaller chips and abrasions. There is some minor veining consistent with the material including to the left Grace. The left Grace's proper left heel may be restored. There are restorations to the base: restored breaks are visible at the right side of the front and at the sides (the panels are reattached). There are a few small losses to the flowers in the garland and a few small abrasions to the base elsewhere.
