Condition
The canvas has not been lined. Ultraviolet light reveals extensive strokes of retouching in the light pigments of the figures' clothing, spots in their faces, and some small areas in the background. Under normal light the work's overall appearance is good and it is ready to hang.
Held in a decorative gilt frame.
