- oil on canvas
- 55.5 by 60cm., 21¾ by 23¾

Condition
The canvas has not been lined. As visible in the catalogue illustration, there is a small spot of paint flaking near the top of the column the figure is leaning against, and a faint circa 3cm vertical scratch in the steps. Ultraviolet light reveals a few minor signs of retouching, notably a small area in the figure's waist and in the extreme upper right corner. This painting is in good condition.
Held in a simple frame, with a beaded inner ornament.
The catalogue illustration is overall an accurate representation of the painting, although the colours have slightly less of a red-orange cast overall.
