Catalogue Note
Ingrams co-founded Private Eye in 1962 and became the magazine's editor a year later. When Ingrams gave up the role of editor in 1986 he was presented with this affectionate portrait 'From All at the Eye' drawn by Scarfe who was, early in his career, one of the Eye's first caricaturists.
