The caption commences "Suddenly Duck ran on ahead. 'I've got it, I'm on the right scent', he cried, barking loudly, and all the forest echoed." It was first published in the Daily Sketch on 18 December 1936. Book publication of a coloured version appeared on page 22-23 of the 1940 edition.
