Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some light wear to all four corner tips and the vertical and upper edges, with some associated intermittent hairline cracks and tiny specks of paint loss in a few places. Upon very close inspection, there is a small number of extremely fine and isolated hairline cracks in a few places elsewhere. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals some specks of retouching; one in the green pigment towards the lower centre of the composition, and further tiny specks to the red pigment along the horizontal axis.
