Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. There are a few cracks in the thick dark pigment towards the left of the top edge, and further thin and unobtrusive hairline cracks to the thicker areas of impasto across the composition. There are a few scattered specks of paint loss, notably towards the lower half of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
