Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate; although the overall tonality is slightly brighter in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of light wear with associated minute specks of paint loss towards the lower right corner tip, and a further tiny speck of paint loss towards the centre of the left hand edge. Extremely close inspection reveals some very light surface deposits scattered intermittently across the composition, likely due to adhesive residues and therefore in keeping with the artist's working process. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
