Condition
Some wear in the central medallion, to the terracotta coloured ground, showing the white warps. Some scattered repairs within terracotta ground of medallion as a different shade of terracotta. There are some minor areas of spotting and dicolouration to the light ground, and minor small repairs and some pulled threads in areas. Some repair visible as different colour in the outer borders. Minor repairs in areas of the classical motifs in the entablatures, especially to one.
Would benefit from a clena. Very decorative and striking carpet. Charming drawing. Within the main medallion, the floral groups within the crescents could be letters. Well balanced colour and composition.
