sommé d'un couvercle en doucine découvrant un compartiment, ouvrant par un abattant orné d'une armoirie, découvrant neuf tiroirs à décor de rinceaux; les côtés centrés d'un médaillon orné du monogramme EE; reposant sur une plinthe ajourée, la serrure en croix; (quelques manques au placage, parties manquantes à l'armoirie, le revers de l'abattant en partie replaqué)
Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate, despite a little too dark.
Good overall condition despite the inevitable scratches and marks due to age and handling.
One decorative element is missing on the top, a small missing to the ebonised wood on the top.
The marquetry is slightly lifting.
Small vertical shrinkage crack on the right and lateral sides and at the reserve of the fall front door.
The central cartouche of the arms is partly reveneered. As visible on illustration, a small loss to the marquetry of the crown. One hinge of the fall front door is detached.
The marquetry of the moulding of the base of the right hand lateral side is partly missing.
The key is missing.
