of archaic bronze form, carved from a semi-translucent stone with black speckling, the deep rounded bowl supported on splayed tripod legs of tapering triangular section and carved in light relief with a frieze of bird motifs, one side with a strap handle, the other with a lion mask handle suspending a loop ring, the broad spout flanked by two capped finials, wood stand (2)

There is a small chip to the tip of the mouth, otherwise appears to be in overall good condition.
