Condition
Good overall condition
General drying up of the veneer and cracks mostly to the back corner of the top where it curves and to the front right-hand part; slight lifting up to the veneer at some parts. A small circular area right facing, approximately 1,5 cm. diameter where the surface of the top has been burnt, not too distracting. Very slight drying up of the varnish to the marqueterie of the door. A few traces of dirt to the base at the centre and to the bronze feet. A few oxidizing traces to the regilded bronze mounts and handle, consistent with normal age and use.
