The drawing of a carpet with identical border is in the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum under the number E.301- 1939. It was acquired in 1939 as a bequest from May Morris, William Morris' daughter.
Condition
Une des extrémités effilochées sur presque toute la largeur.
Les couleurs passées, notamment dans la partie centrale rouge. Plusieurs tâches éparses sur l'ensemble de la surface. Traces d'usure et salissures de surface, dues au temps et à l'usage.
One of the ends frayed along the entire width.
The colors faded, notably in the central red part. Several sparse stains on the entire surface. Traces of wear and dirt of the surface, consistent with age and normal use.
