Condition
The board appears to be sound. There are some faint signs of craquelure in the lake and some small isolated cracks in the sky; otherwise the work appears sound overall.
Ultraviolet light reveals some retouching along the upper edge and some flecks in the sky and lake.
Held in an attractive dark ebony frame.
