Condition
STRUCTURE
The board appears sound. There are small areas of fine craquelure. One or two minor spots of gold paint by centre vertical edges otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
Ultraviolet light reveals an opaque varnish. There are small areas of retouching at the edges, also some flecks in the dark background, one small spot in the pineapple and in the dark grapes upper left.
FRAME
Held in a gilt plaster frame, ready to hang.
