Condition

STRUCTURE The panel appears sound. There are four small areas of paint loss to the buildings in the centre. There is also a faint craquelure pattern is apparent in areas of the sky. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT Ultraviolet light reveals areas of retouching along the upper edge due to frame rubbing, to some of the craquelure in the sky upper left, and also a small spot near the lower right edge. FRAME Held in a gilt composite frame with a canvas slip.
