Condition
STRUCTURE
Original canvas. There are a few small surface abrasions in the lower left corner and a diagonal line through the 'H' in the Grimshaw signature lower right. Also a few light surface scratches in the sky and buildings; otherwise the work appears generally sound.
ULTRAVIOLET
Ultraviolet reveals there appears to be retouching in places throughout. There is a general wash over the lower part of the sky, and strengthening to the darker tones of the building and figures.

Held in a gilt composite frame.
