gouache heightened with gold, depicting a violent melée within a landscape, inscription to the upper left, with two wide columns of text above and below the painting in nasta'liq script in black ink within cloud bands against a gold ground, laid down on an album page decorated with large scrolling gold flowers against an orange ground, pencil inscription to the reverse
Condition
In good overall condition, colours bright, some losses and abrasions to outer album page margins, particularly the top edge, as viewed.
