Description

  • Plumes de grande aigrette (Casmerodius albus - Egretta alba)
the silver brooch of stellar form set throughout with diamonds, the central diamond within an enamelled frame on a blue background with colourful rosettes also set with diamonds, hook to reverse from which springs a tuft of egret feathers

Condition

In good condition, some flaking to enamel background, the reverse with few old restorations to metal mount, including re-soldering, the feathers in fairly good condition as consistent with age, as viewed.
