Description

  • silver and glass
of rectangular form with hinged bevelled cover, the exterior body decorated with openwork panels filled with silver filigree scrolls, each side and top featuring a rosette worked in relief and mounted by a blue stone, the interstices with turned columns decorated with twisted silver wire, resting on a pedestal supported by raised openwork bun feet, two twisted handles to each side

Condition

In overall good condition, the inset blue stones are composed of glass, one of them appears to have fallen off and been restored, as viewed.
