Ludovico Leoni (1637-1727) was a scagliolista working in the Emilia Romagna and Lombardy regions, and older brother of the also well-known scagliolista Giovanni Leoni. Both were born in the scagliola production centre of Carpi, and probably learnt their craft from Annibale and Gasparo Griffoni until having to relocate, Ludovico to Cremona and Giovanni to Modena.
