- Delft
- 35cm., 13 3/4 in.diameter
painted with a full length portrait of a monarch ,probably William III, wearing coronation robes and carrying an orb and sceptre, flanked by two-tiered trees, the reverse with a lead glaze
Condition
There is a hairline crack to the rim which measures approximately 6.7cm long, located at 2 o'clock on the clock face. There is an associated area of over-painting to the rim which measures approximately 8cm wide; it is difficult to determine the true extent of damage to this area. There are also some typical small nibbles to the rim.
