Description

  • 203cm. high, 99cm. wide; 6ft. 8in., 3ft. 3in.
of rectangular shape on two curved supports and terminating in an elaborate cresting, the whole decorated with interlacing foliage and volutes 

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. The gilding is slightly darker overall, more natural and attractive than in catalogue photograph. Minor surface dirt which can easily be cleaned off. Minor chips to the carving with some old minor restored breaks. Some of the gilding appears to have been varnished. Both feet have been broken in the past and have been restored. The mirror plate is in two sections with some simulated mercury degrading which is not visible from the catalogue photograph.
