Description

the body engraved with a coat-of-arms, hinged cover, scroll handle

Condition

Good clear hallmarks on cover and side of the body, the handle with maker's mark only; the coat-of-arms appears to be later, the underside engraved with scratch weight 42-2, light surface scratches commensurate with age, the front pointed section of the rim of the cover is bent slightly downwards.
