of inverted breakfront form with a moulded cornice above a pair of doors decorated with rocaille cartouches flanked by simulated baluster pilasters on plinths decorated with female masks suspending floral trails on a stepped plinth base

Condition
In overall good conserved condition. Nice detail to painted decoration. Impressive size which is very rare. Colour slightly lighter and more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. There are some vertical construction cracks down the left side one of which has been filled but is opening up again. There is also a minor section of moulding missing at the top of the left side approx 4cm long which can easily be replaced. Old minor marks chips and scratches commensurate with age and normal usage and old minor restorations generally. some minor reouching to teh lacquer. There is a vertical 45cm long section of the right edge below the cornice missing as visible from the catalogue photograph exposing the carcass which will need restoration. Internally there are later mirrors on each door, long shelf and hanging rail and eight short shelves and it is later painted inside. One needs to replace all screws with appropriate bolts.
