Condition
In overall good conserved condition. There is some infill to both of the marble tops which is not too noticeable. The gilding on the border around the top is worn. There is evidence of a glue repair behind the mounts on the base. The veneer has been sanded down. The gilt-bronze finial is not later but associated. There are minor patches to the veneer generally which have been very well executed. On one there is a gap between the metal border on the top and the base which would benefit from some repinning.
