Condition
The paper seal is detached so that the screen is now in three sections and will need restoration. There are some minor loses and damage to the lacquer surround. On the far left panel the material border is missing as is some of the gold background. There are some minor losses especially to the faces of the figures. On the same panel some of the paper is missing and damaged and bubbling towards the bottom. There is also some damage to the material border on the other panels with some dark staining. Minor losses generally. The paper on the back on reverse on three of the panels is damaged. In need of some restoration but once restored will look most attractive.
