Provenance
Formerly in the Collection of Jules (1830-1870) et Edmond (1822-1896) de Goncourt.
Condition
The painting was not taken out of the frame for examination.
There is going scattered all over the painting and visible particularly in the lighter areas of the painting. The face of the second lady on the right hand side of the painting is stained. There is ca. 12cm long horizontal crease to the paper to to the middle of the right hand side. There is some light overall wear and some small areas of scratching to the surface.
