Condition
There are small areas of loss to paper along the upper edge of the painting, a ca. 9 cm long area of loss to the paper along the lower right hand side of the painting, a ca. O.5cm area of loss to the paper on the lower right hand side with an associated ca. 14.5 cm long tear to the paper, all of which may have occurred prior to or during the mounting of the painting. The colours of the paintings are of a warmer and more subtle tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
