The inside covers at the back and front are covered with gold-flecked paper, the back and front cover with silk which is worn in places, particularly around the edges, and there are some soiling to the silk and cardboard. The illustrations are fresh in colour. Most of the illustrations show scattered holes to the silk and some insect damage. Some illustrations bear some light staining, others show larger stains. There is also some light staining to some illustrations and some light scratching in some areas.
