circulaire, formée de deux compartiments sous un couvercle bombé, le premier reposant sur un piédouche, le couvercle orné d'un médaillon central abritant pivoines épanouies poussant parmi les rochers, ces fleurs se répétant sur le pourtour, l'intérieur laqué rouge (3)

Condition

The box with several losses to the inlaid mother-of-pearl elements particularly the peonies and some flakes to the lacquer to the rim and inside rim ; the second tier with age cracks to the inside (almost visible under to the other side) with flakes to the lacquer to the edges and very few losses to the inlaid decoration ; the cover with an expected circular long age crack inside edges (visible to the other side) and several losses to the mother-of-pearl inlaids (almost all the peonies) on the top and also on the edges ; some chips and flakes to the rim with associated small cracks inside.
