Condition

There is a casting flaw visible in the gilt-bronze just below the bejewelled necklace on the front of the figure and running down into his torso, and on the back of the figure. The rich gilding is worn across both knees. There is a crack to the lower part of the lotus base to the right side of the figure (visible in the catalogue illustration). Some inlays have been replaced, others are missing. The base is not sealed, an opening at the back of the base suggests a halo that is not missing.
