Condition
This work is in good condition. The canvasboard is sound. A close inspection reveals some minor hairline shrinkage in the dark red pigment of the wave (as visible in the catalogue illustration). Examination under UV light reveals intermittent lines of retouching around the edges, probably to cover old frame abrasion, and scattered tiny spots of retouching in the dark grey pigment of the sky.
