Condition
This work is in excellent condition. The bronze is sound with an attractive dark brown patina that has burnished red nuances (as visible in the catalogue illustration). There is some light wear to the patina on the most protruding areas and a light build-up of dust in the recessive areas. A close inspection reveals some minor scuffing along the lower edge of the base, a small spot of verdigris on the terrace of the base and a 3mm surface scratch to the left of the spine, towards the waist of the torso.
