- A Cycladic Marble Kandila
- Marble
- Height 8 7/8 in. 22.5 cm.
with tapering foot concave underneath, hemispherical body with four pierced lug handles and flat shoulder, and wide fragmentary tapering neck with rounded rim offset on the exterior.

Condition
As shown and described in the catalogue; about a third of the perimeter of the upper part of the neck is missing (since antiquity) on the side not shown. The handles are all almost complete but chipped and abraded to more and less a degree. Some areas of the surface are pitted and eroded, and most of it is heavily encrusted. The areas of the surface where the incrustation has been removed are in good condition.
