  • Height 8 3/8 in. 21.3 cm.
perhaps Isis, standing with the weight on her right leg, her left arm originally close to the side, her right arm free from the body and strengthened with a puntello at the hip, and wearing a long chiton with overfold, belted below the breasts, and fastened at the shoulders, the missing head formerly carved separately and attached with a pin, a broad tenon below her feet scored and tapered for insertion into a base.

Condition

As shown and described, including large losses to proper right foot and surrounding drapery and proper right side of upper body from shoulder to waist, visible in catalogue image, loss also to proper left arm, remnants of drill hole through neck for attachment of head, scattered chips, particularly to the back of the figure.
