Condition
The following condition report has been prepared by Simon Parkes Art Conservation: This painting has never been removed from its original stretcher. The paint layer is clean. There is a faint pattern of cracking in the sky but this is neither unstable nor visually disturbing. However, it can be easily eliminated if the canvas were lined. It is recommended that the painting be hung as is.
