Condition

Excellent condition for an object of this type and age. Minor abrasions, nicks, scratches, and tool marks throughout. The eyes inlaid with coffee-bean shaped pieces of lead as shown. Minor surface age cracks and flaws in ivory. Exceptionally fine, glossy deep red ivory patina. The underside with a hole for attachment; small piece of metal embedded inside hole.
