Condition
Original canvas. There is a faint horizontal stretcher bar mark visible along the top edge, with a faint possible horizontal stretcher bar mark through the centre of the composition. These are only visible upon extremely close inspection.
There is light surface dust and traces of studio detritus, with very minor, fine craquelure to the thicker areas of white impasto towards the centre of the composition, and a small spot of loss to one of the raised globules of thicker white impasto in the upper right quadrant, only visible upon close inspection. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition, with strong, fresh passage of impasto throughout.
Please contact the department for an ultraviolet light report.
Housed in a thin light wooden frame.
