Condition
Sound board, there are nail heads visible along the extreme edge, with a small chip to the top right edge, and a few further, smaller abrasions, scattered nicks and nips elsewhere along the extreme edge of the board, visible upon close inspection.
There is surface dirt and traces of studio detritus, with a small possible staing to the centre of the bottom edge, with flattening to some of the raised elements of thicker impasto. There are traces of slight varnish discolouration and fine craquelure to the thicker light blue impasto in the bottom right hand corner, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals isolated areas of fluorescence and probable retouchings to the aforementioned area of slight loss and further nicks and nips along the extreme upper edge.
Housed in a tight wooden tray frame.
