Description

multicolored paint on linen backed with cotton.

Inscribed in Hebrew Judah, son of Isaac Meir, born Thursday 10 Iyar [5]659 (= 20 April 1899) and with traditional blessings. Indistinctly signed by the artist A. Lévy Mosst(?) at the end of the binder. Embellished with animals, flowers, a bull as symbol of the month of Iyar, a Torah and a Huppah.

Condition

In generally good condition. Strong bright colors. Very minor scattered staining. Sewn in 4 panels.
