- 2ft. 10½in. high by 3ft. 4in. wide
with a rectangular top decorated with chinoiserie scenes and foliated borders, repeated to the doors, which enclose on shelf, flanked by turned and fluted columns on tapered feet, bearing a label in the inside right door inscribed the Furniture belonging to the Dow Lady Willoughby de Broke 1853 (...).

Condition
Overall good condition,decorated on cedar, the decoration largely refreshed, cracking and wear to top, minor shrinking cracks on side panels, ready to be used.

The Dowager Lady Willoughby de Broke (d.1880), born Margaret Williams, was daughter of Sir John Williams, 1st Bt Williams of Bodelwyssan. She married the 16th Baron Willoughby de Broke, Henry Peyto-Verney who died in 1852 at his family seat, Compton Verney.
