Condition

The work has been well preserved and carefully presented. The medium has remained bold and strong. The paper has retained its sumptuous ivory colour although there is some extremely minor staining at the upper right of the sheet. This does not unbalance the composition. Around the extreme edges of the work there is a tiny white line, which may be associated with previous mounting. The work has not been laid down.
